This large stainless steel sculpture serves as a focal point for a key sight line within the White River State Park and Indianapolis Cultural Trail.
Key Details:
The sculpture is approximately 32′ tall and sits on a large concrete base. While the primary shape is a vertically extruded triangle, the piece has a number of angular cut-outs helping to create its abstract form.
Rinaldo Paluzzi is an American artist who was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania but spent much of his career living in Madrid. He was formally-trained in Fine Art at Indiana University and is one of its most notable alumni in the Arts.
If You Go:
White River State Park is fantastic for enthusiasts of public art in an urban park setting. There are multiple additional pieces nearby in the park and on the Old Washington Street Bridge.
