This quiet steel sculpture rests within the relative chaos of a new and hugely popular downtown park.
Key Details:
The sculpture consists of a large, thick disc that sits upright on a tilted plane. Two twisted rectilinear forms intersect the disc at its center. Overall, the sculpture is asymmetrical, but appears balanced.
The sculpture rests in the John W. Galbreath Bicentennial Park which was recently renovated. The park is part of the ‘Scioto Mile’ park system which lines the downtown Columbus Riverfront.
If You Go:
The sculpture is just to the north of Main Street near the Scioto River. Its easy to find within the park and is directly across the street from the Columbus Cultural Arts Center.
